¿What is a Learning Journey?
A Nura Learning Journey is not a trip. It is a tool for real learning.
We step out of our usual environment for a few days to immerse ourselves in the way other organizations think, make decisions, and work. We visit companies, talk with their teams, understand their processes, and, above all, observe how they do what they do.
We don't want superficial inspiration. We are looking for criteria.
A Learning Journey is about exploring different contexts to return with better questions, better decisions, and a broader perspective on our own projects.
¿How we finance a Learning Journey?
Learning Journey is funded by the money from our projects.
At the beginning of each school year, the cost of each trip is estimated, and we work hard on projects to be able to fund the trips.
At Nuran, we don't pay to travel. We invest directly in learning in a practical and shared way.
Indeed, in addition to great memories, lessons are brought forth that touch upon the projects, the way of working, and the team's culture.
¿What do we learn in the Learning Journey?
You learn what isn't in books, courses, or on social media:
How companies are born and scale in other countries.
How cultures and contexts affect the way we work.
How they organize people and how they make decisions.
They overflow with what mistakes they have made and what they would do.
How culture is experienced from within.
But, furthermore, something of equal importance is learned: how we view our own projects after seeing how others operate in such different realities.
Learning Journey doesn't just teach about other organizations. It forces you to rethink your own.
